Introduction.
My Coffee Lounge (MCL) is committed to protecting your personal information and ensuring trust between us and our users.

This privacy policy sets out how your personal information is treated. Above all, we do not send unsolicited emails at any time, nor do we provide or sell personal information such as email addresses to third parties.

Information We Collect
MCL collects information about all visitors to the site. The following information is stored and only available for viewing by the MCL moderating team.

� User's IP address.
� User's operating system.
� User's top level domain name.
� The date and time of the visit to the site.
� The pages accessed and the documents downloaded.
� The referrer site.
� The type of browser used.
� Username.
� Password.

This information is collected for statistical purposes only and no attempt is made by MCL to identify the user or their surfing activities, except when nessesary to enforce user bans/abuse.

Please be aware that whenever you give out personal information online - for example, via chat rooms, discussion forums, message boards or user profiles -- information can be collected and used by people and/or third parties you don't know. While it is our goal to protect our users' privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose for public display, and therefore you do so at your own risk.

Information sent via coaster (private message) to others users is deemed to be no different to messages posted in the public forums. The information is considered public and the recipient of a private message is within their rights to quote any private message sent to them. As such, you should not share any personal information via coaster that you would not be happy to post in a public forum.

Disclosure of information
In the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency or other government agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect MCL's logs. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information (such as your IP address and login time) as required by law, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our web site.

Use of Personal Information
Personal information provided to MCL moderators (as opposed to other users) via coaster is considered private and will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it.
This privacy clause does not preclude MCL moderators from quoting non personally identifiable aspects of your private message.

Data Security
We seek to use reasonable security measures to protect the data that resides on our servers from loss, misuse or alteration. However, due to the nature of the Internet, we can not guarantee the security of information on our server from malicious attack and thus accept no responsibility for loss or misuse of your data as a result of a security breach. Please remember that security of the username and password you create when you register with MCL, is your responsibility; we recommend that you do not share them with anyone.
